The Naturist Talks: Mark and Tracey from the UK

By: Nick & Lins

Naturism is a wonderful lifestyle that we try to enjoy as much as possible. In as many places as possible. Most of the time we share our own views on the different aspects of nudism but once in a while, we like to pass the mic to hear about how someone else’s experiences. Via this Naturist Talks interview series, we listen to naturists from all over the world. They share their experiences, tips and stories about naturism and thanks to them we keep learning about the different aspects of life in the nude.
Today we’re listening to Mark and Tracey, a naturist couple from the UK.

Hello Mark and Tracey, please tell us something about yourself

Hi, we are Mark & Tracey and we have been married now for 31 years. We have two sons and a daughter and Bob the dog. I (Mark) am also a petrol head and race myself. Our eldest son and Daughter are both now married which just leaves our youngest son still living at home. Tracey is now beginning to feel comfortable while nude and is a Hammers fan. She is also now an amputee of the left lower leg for 5 years.

Happy Nude 2020!

By: Nick & Lins

Oh what an amazing year was 2019!
This is already the 4th time that we (as in Naked Wanderings) are wishing you a wonderful new year. This blog post is the 344th one on this website. And this is also our 3rd year of traveling. Meanwhile, it has become a bit of a tradition that in this first blog post of the new year we reflect on what’s behind us and try to have a peek at what’s waiting down the road.

For Naked Wanderings, 2019 has been a success story. We visited so many naturist campings, B&Bs, resorts, beaches, clubs, and events. In 2019, almost 1.4 million different people from 234 different countries have visited this website. We don’t know the exact stats but we do believe that this makes Naked Wanderings one of the most read naturist/nudist publications in the world.

21 Nude Festivals and Nudist Events in 2020

By: Nick & Lins

For a long time, the top nude event of the year was some kind of petanque or volleyball tournament, organized in the local naturist club. Members only. We can imagine that it was a lot of fun, having the whole club together for a day or maybe two, engaging in a communal nude activity. On the other hand, those nudist events didn’t seem much different than any given Sunday at the club.

During the last years, nude events have broken out of their original settings. British Naturism was among the first to realize how cool a nudist event could be on a national level and several other naturist federations quickly followed. Today, in many cases we can hardly still talk about a nudist event, but rather of a nude festival. Nudists from all over the country and often even from all over the world gather for a couple of days of great activities, music and social nudity.
With more and more nudist events and festivals being organized all over the world, it becomes harder for bloggers like ourselves to list them all. Which is something we can’t be more happy about. Nude festivals are conquering the world! If you still have some empty spaces in your agenda, we’ll quickly fill them up for you!

  • Fossil Creek: Matzatzal
    by lasthouseob1 on 17 January , 2020 at 02:06

2019-09-17 We are camping in the designated campground of the Verde Hot Springs. We have a parking pass for Matzatzal, a designated spot along Fossil Creek. We’ll have the serenity of a clear mountain stream. The spot should be all to ourselves and no intrusions expected. We awaken to the gobble of a turkey in

  • The Verde Hot Springs
    by lasthouseob1 on 9 January , 2020 at 21:41

2019-09-16 Our destination is the ‘ol hot springs on the Verde River. The plan is to spend three days with a couple of side excursions into Fossil Creek’s sweet riparian area. I am gambling, but thinking that odds are in my favor. After being extremely sick the week previous, I figure that I’m left with

  • Verde Hot Springs: Back in the Day
    by lasthouseob1 on 3 January , 2020 at 20:00

We went down to the Verde Hot Springs a couple of months back. I thought that I’d first review a bit of history to warm up to that tale. In the mid-nineteen seventies, we used to head up to Flagstaff on the weekends to party with Tucsonans at Northern Arizona University. You’d find me in

  • New Years Day 2014
    by lasthouseob1 on 27 December , 2019 at 22:06

We got a late start after a late New Years Eve…of course. When we began our drive up into the mountains, it was around noon plus thirty. The goal was to visit the petroglyphs that we had been to once before: It is winter time and the rattlesnakes are asleep with most of the

  • Checking out Bear Wallow
    by lasthouseob1 on 20 December , 2019 at 11:15

2019-08-14 I’m in the Catalina Mountains for a couple of days. I’m on a retreat, a retuning. I slept in the forest on a hill last night in nude seclusion. After a warm filling breakfast, I’m on my way to a more frequented trail that will lead me to Bear Wallow. It is Wednesday, the

Naked Wanderings

Hi we are Nick & Lins, a Belgian couple in their early 30s, who love traveling the world.

Since a couple of years we discovered a new way of traveling. The naked way.

We invite you to take off your clothes and come with us!

My naked blog, naked body and naked thoughts.
This is the story of my adventures, philosophies and explorations while creating skinny dipping guide books.
  • Midnight bath
    by nakednakedkate on 17 December , 2019 at 22:06

It is astonishing me how easy it seems to be to get random strangers to get their kit off. Within minutes of meeting people, we are naked together! This is fantastic! I’m not talking about drunken, desperate exchanges in a club that lead to forgettable sex, hangovers and regrets. I’m talking about broad daylight, sober,Continue reading “Midnight bath”

  • Looks like I’m not the only one.
    by nakednakedkate on 2 December , 2019 at 19:15

In the past two weeks I have seen a lot of bodies. Bodies of water and human bodies. So many different rivers, lakes and beaches that I find it hard to believe I haven’t been on the road for months and months. Not quite as many naked bodies but still quite a few for onlyContinue reading “Looks like I’m not the only one.”

  • F**k you I won’t do what you tell me!
    by nakednakedkate on 24 November , 2019 at 20:19

This blog is a place for nudity. Nude bodies AND nude thoughts. So that means no covering up or masking the not-so-positive thoughts. These days I am more than comfortable for anyone and everyone to see me naked (which is a good job as there’s now naked photos of me all over the internet). ButContinue reading “F**k you I won’t do what you tell me!”

  • 1st day of the rest of my life?
    by nakednakedkate on 20 November , 2019 at 05:31

Today feels like the first day of the rest of my life. I am boarding a plane back to New Zealand, (where I recently spent 3 years working, road tripping, hiking and skiing). But, after a summer back home in England, I now return with a new mission and a sense of purpose. My missionContinue reading “1st day of the rest of my life?”

  • The beginning
    by nakednakedkate on 5 November , 2019 at 11:28

How Abbey caves changed my life. A year and a half ago a chance encounter in a cave changed my life forever. Some may say it was pure chance, or good fortune, that brought us together that summer’s day in New Zealand. Others may say it was fate, the gods or the universe. Personally, IContinue reading “The beginning”
