Because life is better without clothes

Hi we are Nick & Lins, a Belgian couple in their early 30s, who love traveling the world.

Since a couple of years we discovered a new way of traveling. The naked way.

We invite you to take off your clothes and come with us!
  • The growing trend of Naturist Tourism
    by Nick&Lins on 22 March , 2023 at 07:00

Naturism and vacations have always gone hand in hand, even in times long before the commercial resorts. In those days, the local naturist club was a great weekend getaway, and during the summer holidays, the tent was packed or the caravan hooked up to spend some time without clothes at a club a bit further away.   Then someone must have realised that they were missing out on an opportunity. There must be naturists who … Read more The post The growing trend of Naturist Tourism appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Revisited: Barefeet Naturist Resort in Bangkok, Thailand
    by Nick&Lins on 15 March , 2023 at 07:00

It has been 5 years since we last visited Thailand, almost to date. So we were very much looking forward to seeing what has changed and what we would still recognise. The world turns fast, but one could wonder how much can be different in just half a decade. These are not normal times though.   When we first visited Thailand, naturism in the country was still kinda in its infancy. There were several resorts, … Read more The post Revisited: Barefeet Naturist Resort in Bangkok, Thailand appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Naturist vacations in South Africa: An Overview
    by Nick&Lins on 8 March , 2023 at 07:00

For 3 whole months, we’ve travelled through South Africa in search of what the country has to offer to the naturist traveller. The least we can say is that we’ve been overwhelmed by the natural beauty of this country. Even if we wouldn’t have had a single chance to get naked, it would definitely still have been worth every minute of the trip. But luckily, we did get opportunities to enjoy South Africa without clothes. … Read more The post Naturist vacations in South Africa: An Overview appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Review: Kiepersolkloof near Rustenburg, South Africa
    by Nick&Lins on 1 March , 2023 at 07:00

All good things come to an end, and unfortunately, this was also the case for our big road trip in South Africa. For 3 months we’ve been driving through the country visiting all those wonderful places, but we made sure to leave a special treat for the very end of our trip. The couple of days before we would fly out of the country, we spent at one of the world’s largest naturist domains: Kiepersolkloof. … Read more The post Review: Kiepersolkloof near Rustenburg, South Africa appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Why we often compare naturism with veganism
    by Nick&Lins on 22 February , 2023 at 07:00

If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you may have noticed that we often use a comparison with veganism as an example to explain certain aspects of naturism. There’s no need to worry, our goal is not to convince every naturist to adopt a vegan lifestyle. Or vice versa. But we noticed that although both are quite distinct, they share a number of similar values.   It appears that the concept of not … Read more The post Why we often compare naturism with veganism appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Review: Bare Necessities in Swellendam, South Africa
    by Nick&Lins on 15 February , 2023 at 07:00

We knew that we were going to be up for a treat when Neels sent us the instructions for how to get to Bare Necessities. It included a hand-drawn map filled with terms like “dirt road”, “bus shelter turn right”, “wooden farm stall turn right”, and “house with green roof is not Bare Necessities”. Most naturist places we visited in South Africa are tucked away in greenery, but when you get a message like that, … Read more The post Review: Bare Necessities in Swellendam, South Africa appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Should you go to an adult-only naturist resort?
    by Nick&Lins on 8 February , 2023 at 07:00

Naturism has always been promoted as a family-friendly thing, best enjoyed when you take your partner and your kids. For the large majority of naturist resorts around the world, families are still the preferred type of guest. But for a couple of years, we’ve been seeing a rapid increase of resorts that’ll ask you to leave the kids at home.   In the mind of the cautious naturist traveller, this immediately sets off a number … Read more The post Should you go to an adult-only naturist resort? appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Where to make naturist friends
    by Nick&Lins on 1 February , 2023 at 07:00

It keeps baffling us how many naturists we know around the world. Every time when we scroll through our phones, we see all these foreign numbers popping up, from places where we have ended up one day or another. We can roughly divide them in two categories: Airbnbs and naturists.   Airbnbs because this is where we spend many of our nights and it’s always a good idea to be able to communicate with the … Read more The post Where to make naturist friends appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • Do you have to be a naturist to visit a naturist resort?
    by Nick&Lins on 25 January , 2023 at 07:00

We imagine that you’re shouting “YES, of course“, after you’ve just read the title question of this blog post. If you’re not a naturist, why would you want to visit a naturist resort in the first place? There’s nothing for you there, unless you have very un-naturist intentions which make you even less welcome.   Our answer is a bit more complicated, as you probably imagine since we’re about to spend a whole blog post … Read more The post Do you have to be a naturist to visit a naturist resort? appeared first on Naked Wanderings.

  • WhatsApp Naturism
    by Nick&Lins on 18 January , 2023 at 07:00

The other day we were invited by a friend to visit their naturist camp. Not the kind of campsite that we’re used to in Europe, that’s open throughout the season and where people come and go. It was more like a pop-up camp. A group of naturists rented out a whole, usually textile, campsite just north of Cape Town and turned it naturist throughout the weekend.   This is not uncommon in South Africa, last … Read more The post WhatsApp Naturism appeared first on Naked Wanderings.
