BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA -- Male cyclists taking part in a nude environmental protest ride in Brisbane next month will be urged to equip themselves with one vital item - a sock.

Not to keep a foot warm but, by police decree, to avoid offending public decency when the expected 15 riders take to Brisbane's bikeways on March 10.

As part of a World Naked Bike Ride, environmentalists in 56 cities across 16 countries will strip down in a coordinated protest.

[bodyfreedom3] World Naked Gardening Day May 5!

World Naked Gardening Day fans:

The planet is already gearing up for the third annual World Naked Gardening Day! In only two years WNGD has sprouted a life of its own, finding its way--almost always with good humor--onto international television talk shows, radio reports, newspaper editorials, gardening and naturist magazines and newsletters, weblogs, and more Web sites than we can count. Just google "World Naked Gardening Day" and look at the thousands of places this phenomenon is discussed.

Free Beaches Australia Inc (FBA)

Dear Cairns and FNQ nudists and naturists,

My name is Philip Millroy the national President of the FBA for 2006. I saw that you were looking for people who were activly seeking nudist beaches in Queensland.

In June 2006 myself, Cate Molloy (MLA Noosa) the and two committee members meet with the QLD Govt in Brisbane to discuss this exact issue. The short answer is the Govt wants a request to come from the local council so as to take the pressure off the Qld Govt.
