World Naked Gardening Day fans:

The planet is already gearing up for the third annual World Naked Gardening Day! In only two years WNGD has sprouted a life of its own, finding its way--almost always with good humor--onto international television talk shows, radio reports, newspaper editorials, gardening and naturist magazines and newsletters, weblogs, and more Web sites than we can count. Just google "World Naked Gardening Day" and look at the thousands of places this phenomenon is discussed.

WNGD is nonpolitical, and no one owns it. Everyone is simply encouraged to try some form of gardening--indoors or out, alone or among friends--as nature intended. Gardening naked is relaxing, healthy, and it baffles the mind how anyone can try it without enjoying themselves. Folks are then encouraged to tell someone--ANYONE--about the fun they had.

Due to international--yes INTERNATIONAL--request (I hesitant to call it "pressure"), World Naked Gardening Day is now moved to the Spring (or Fall, if you are in the Southern Hemisphere). It will now be enjoyed around the globe on the first Saturday of each May. For 2007, that's May 5!
