I'm single, can I join a Naturist group?

YES!

Some clubs and groups tend to limit the number of single members, while others seem to have a more relaxed acceptance policy for singles. It is a problem for many singles to find a club or group that will let them become members, and even the national organizations have noticed. One of the national organization has recently begun to encourage their affiliated clubs to accept more singles. It may take several attempts to find the right group if you are single. If you approach a group and they say no, just respect their viewpoint and try somewhere else. There is usually a group somewhere in your area that will accept you as member as a single. naturistspace. org is the best choice for you. However, if the driving distance to their meeting place is more than you want to commit to, another option would be start a new group in your area. Then you could plan to have a more open policy on single memberships. The naturist/Naturist lifestyle is a great way to meet a lot of interesting people, both married and single.

If you are a male, NO. I am

If you are a male, NO. I am a male and go nude as much as I can but cant join a club because I am single. It sucks.

sex discrimination does work both ways and is against the law

I am a male nudist... with that said I found it hard to find a resort to accomodate me without being an AANR member and having a female companion. I do have a girlfriend but she is too shy to go to a club, therefore I can't go because I am not allowed entrance via resort rules. I finally found a resort in cadet, missouri that allows single men to go by themselves. I go as often as I can and the women don't find it weird that there are single men there. My hat goes out to the Oaks at Cadet for making me feel at home in my own skin and not ostricizing me for not having a woman on my arm. Remember folks it is about being nude not about penis vagina ratio and if the women have a problem with that then get over it.

If you are a male

You are right it does suck.
I am a male naturist and have enjoyed the lifestyle for over 35 years now but I've come to realize that our exclusion from clubs is a sacrifice that has to be made so the women who enjoy nudism/naturism can feel safe from the skin-dog types that equate the amount of exposed skin to the willingness for sex.
Yes it is form of discrimination but try to think of your sacrifice more as an act of chivalry in it's highest form you being the white knight coming to the damsels aide. (I know cheezy as hell but you get the idea:-))
