The story of the World Naked Bike Ride

A first look at a new movie about people, suspense, intrigue, love and potential environmental catastrophic collapse.

A movie about people, suspense, intrigue, love and potential environmental catastrophic collapse. Our group of highly entertaining movie makers has set upon a world wide mission to interview as many of the WNBR organizers as possible and uncover their personal motives and ambitions for world domination.

I have decided to organise next year's bike ride for Brisbane, seeing as I have had so much fun doing this this year - and I'm delighted to see that the effort I went through paid off.  Some of you might be incredulous at this, but this is the best turnout for ANYTHING that I've planned since my 18th birthday!

Anyway, I would like to garner some thoughts and ideas for next year's bike ride from you lovely guys and girls.

1) Would you like the ride to be in a more contained environment (e.g. at a nudist/naturist club or resort) as opposed to a public urban setting?

The World Naked Bike Ride Lima 2007 (Ciclonudista Lima) was a total success, more than 300 riders between women, men and kids all of them painted, with customs, half naked or totaly naked, even when the local police prohibited that.

All the media was present, the newspapers and television support and encourage us, also the pedestrians in the way  encourage us,

we keep a minute of silence in honor of the 6 cyclist death by cars in the 2007 before start the ride.

All the media coverage will be publish in the web page this week, also the photo gallery.

As long as it goes ahead

"I was just thinking about the group who are opposing the event.  I once read a quote that went something like "if you argue with idiots all you get is two idiots arguing".  Lets respect their right to oppose us.  After all we more than anyone can see that their opposition is based on fear and misinformation.  I for one, am really trying to be tolerant and respectful towards them - in a sense they are unwittingly providing us with much valuable publicity."

19 hours till Brisbane WNBR - IMPORTANT!

Well, it's now 19 hours till the Brisbane World Naked Bike Ride.  A point of order: the police escort who's going to be there on the day has now demanded that everyone wear at least a g-string or some swimming shorts for the event or else they will be making arrests.  It seems like that they've caved into the demands of the gymnophobes instead of giving the participants and the media what they want.  The police officer said that he finds nudity offensive, especially around kids, yet he calls himself the 'friendliest officer' out there.  Basically, anyone who doesn't empathise or sympathise
