Dear Gerald

Clean Up Our Climate - This Clean Up Day...Start today...Save tomorrow

Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment. Through your dedication to coordinate a site and make a valuable contribution to your local environment and community a lot has been achieved, with a staggering 200,000 tonnes of rubbish having been removed from the environment since the first Clean Up Australia Day in 1989. That is a whopping 4.7 million household wheelie bins worth!

Smoke-Free Free Beaches

These days, not many naturists seem to smoke, or do smoke on our free beaches; and those who do light up are usually pretty good in bringing their pocket ashtrays and in taking their cigarette butts back to a bin to dispose of properly, considering the fragile marine environment.

However, we know about Manly's Smoke Free Zones and that "Council’s initial Council resolution regarding Smoke Free Zones was taken on 17 May 2004 Manly Council, at its Ordinary Council Meeting, where it was resolved to ban smoking on: [amongst other areas] Manly's ocean and harbour beaches."
