A petition has been created to be submitted to the European Parliament, with a view to pressing for the creation of an official clause in the statute books, to explicitly verify the right of every citizen to engage in naked outdoor activities.

While the law remains vague on this issue, people continue to be wrongly prosecuted for healthy and harmless activities like naked hiking, cycling, etc.

Ike in HollandLet's not ALL be seen as volley-ball playing, petanque-playing, naked people.

Even though, as Seinfeld would say:"Not that there's anything wrong with that!".

I believe that what we naturists have in common, with many textiles, is an appreciation of the arts.

Stickers - Plant a tree

On the windows of my car, there are three stickers. One is of a white cockatoo, covering itself with its feathers. Another is of a naked lady dancing in sunbeams and the third says:

greenfleet.com.au

The last one was spotted by my son and it gave me a great opportunity to arrange to give him a certificate from that organisation, as a *St Nicholas Day gift. (*A Dutch tradition, celebrated 5th December)

Naked Activism in Europe

With thanks to rich.inud at nakedeurope.org, who says:

Naked activities are harmless, healthy and fun and the more people who realise this the healthier, in both body and mind, the people of Europe and the world will be. The focus here is on outdoor naked activities because that is what I am particularly interested in: hiking naked in the remoter regions of the European Alps and environs.

Reminder: Fun in the Sun Day at Armonds Beach

Submitted by JoMulholland on Fri, 02/03/2007 - 07:28

The second annual fun beach day, is being planned for Armonds Beach, on the south coast of New South Wales, for Sunday, March 11, 2007.

It was good last year, to see a reasonable number of naturists enjoy this hopefully, beginning of yet another tradition.

The Southern Hemisphere WNBR is all set to go. Whistles, bells and frilly things tingle and jingle as we go. Two wheels of uninhibited naked ecstasy taking to the streets of the world.

It is time again to challenge the monopoly of car culture conformity. The World Naked Bike Ride is the most fun protest in the world.

The Southern Hemisphere 2007 World Naked Bike Ride is just a bounce from cycling through the cities of the world. So far the following cities will be participating in the March 10th naked bike ride.

Stephen Gough: Naked Messiah?

Submitted by Editor on Sat, 17/02/2007 - 10:15

Stephen Gough: Naked Messiah? - Englishman Steve Gough, the naked Rambler, continues to be imprisoned in an Edinburgh, Scotland, jail, steadfastly refusing to dress under any circumstance, exercising his God-given right to wear only his smile. His incarceration has been extended several times as he’s insisted on presenting himself in court without clothing, drawing the ire of local judges.
