For the Sea!

Born with no genitalia, I was stripped of my ability to reproduce life, much like our sea is now.

Stripped of its salt and chemical balance by
freshwater Arctic thaw, reducing its plankton levels beyond critical and breaking the food chain, this is down to global warming, accelerated by ever increasing carbon emissions.

Stripped of its fish life, partly due to that
plankton deficiency, but mainly down to
over-fishing, destroying the breeding population
before it can restore the balance.

We too are stripping, but this time to stop
murdering the sea. Look at it! All its colour and
texture fading, like an old man left to die in an
uncaring retirement home. We are its only life
support machine. We know what we have to do. Do it!
