...and we are only days away now from Glastonbury Music Festival 2009 now, an event which often sees plenty of people getting naked. For naturist lovers, there are plenty of chanches to shed your clothes if you have a ticket for the event.

• Dance with the hippies in the green field in your birthday suit.
  If its rains and gets muddy - You can join the naked mud sliders.
• Go to one of the portable saunas which are usually at the event. Samsauna will be there again this year.

Newt 2009 (Naked European Walking Tour)

This is a reminder that the NEWT 2009 will take place in the last week of August 2009. This year's Naked European Walking Tour will be based somewhere to the south of Salzburg, Austria. A fixed campsite will be used. More information and details are available via Naktiv.

Naturist Foundation Jazz Festival 2009 is an annual event in the UK and if you enjoy Jazz and naturism then this event might be worth considering. 26th to 28th June 2009 are the dates for your calendar and prices at £99 for a couple from 3 days why not? You can find out more about the Naturist Jazz Festival online. The venue has some excellent facilities and if the British end of June weather holds out then this is a very good and fun event.

Movie Guide: If you have not seen the movie 'Shortbus' then I highly recommend it to you. If you enjoy reading this blog then you are likely to love the movie Shortbus. It is an adult film but one which is very artistic and is very highly rated in the movie industry. Amazon are selling it very cheaply also and it is in their Top 100 DVDs in the UK. Watched the movie? Add your blog comments.Update: New site which may interest naturist is Amsterdam culture and travel. It will include Amsterdam saunas information.

The Istrian Peninsula, Croatia is a place where you can these take naturism and nudist holidays and it is a place worth considering from our experience. Valalta on the Southern Croatian Istrian coast, is a lovely area and it boasts a well organised and quality naturist resort.

On the local naturism resort you can stay naked 24 hours a day although and the naturist hotel offers half board and good facilities. The naturism resort area and hotel have facilities which include a pool area, sunbathing areas, local shops, massage, gym and sauna, in addition to live entertainment.
There is a lovely 5km beach and there are many other beaches which are suitable also for naturist in Istria. The naturist resort area itself, is close to the the 11 km long nature reserve Lim fjord. Another good place for naturism is Barcelona. Barcelona has a very good naturist beach and the weather to match and is driveable from Cap d'Agde although not close enough for simply a day trip.
